Camping Fun!

We finally made it out camping with our good friends, the Stricker family!  We had been trying all summer and we just couldn't get our weekends to coordinate.  We were finally able to quick sneak in a camping trip the weekend before school started.  What a blast we had!  The boys all played so well together and we really enjoyed spending a couple of days just hanging out and relaxing with great friends!  Here are some pictures from our weekend adventures!

We started out our road trip with a little Waltzing Matilda!  Nathan loves this song and wanted us to repeat it over and over on our way to Red Lodge.  Goofy Guy!

Riding bikes with the boys.
Nathan finally learned how to ride his trike without ANY help from us!  He loved going on bike rides with Jack and Jack was kind enough to stick with him and help him around the loop.  Jack even taught him how to pull over and get out of the way if he saw a car coming.

This was the beautiful view from our campsite!
Of course, Nathan had to go throw some rocks in the water!

The two guys sporting their Magic City 4x4 shirts!

Jack and Bennett joined us down at the creek for some more rock throwing!

Daddy and Boo!

Good Friends!

The boys had a great time digging in the dirt with all of their excavators and dump trucks!

McCoy got in on the digging too!

McCoy and Berkley hanging out!

McCoy is a GREAT camping dog!  He loves being outdoors and with his family!
He slept in the camper with us and did a great job!  He even kept Mom's feet warm in the chilly mountain evenings! :)

We were excited to see a Mama moose and her baby walk right through the campground.
The boys sure thought it was cool!

On our last night there Jack shared some of his glow sticks and the boys had a great time playing in the dark by the fire!

On Sunday morning, we headed out to the lake for a family fishing trip!

Nathan loves to fish "all by myself" as he says!

Mommy and Nathan caught one fish while we were there!  Nathan said it was a "BIG FISH MAMA," but in reality it was almost smaller than the size of my palm! :)  Oh well, he loved it anyway!

Here is to another successful, fun family camping trip to the MOUNTAINS (Nathan's favorite place to go) and to the end of a wonderful summer spent together making memories!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!
:)
