Halloween 2013!

This past week we had a great time celebrating Halloween!  Although it is not Mommy's favorite holiday, it sure is fun to celebrate and experience it through the eyes of a 2 1/2 year old!  We carved pumpkins, roasted pumpkin seeds,  dressed up as a fireman, trick or treated, and enjoyed a great Halloween evening as a family!  Nathan had a blast and REALLY enjoyed all of the yummy treats! :)

Here are some pictures from our week's events!

Digging out the pumpkin guts!

Trying a bite!

Posing with the finished products!

Getting the seeds ready to roast!

Showing off his Halloween shirt before heading to Ms. Tara's house for Halloween day!

Getting all dressed up in his fireman costume!
He looks pretty cute in those suspenders!
He didn't want to wear this costume because of the suspenders and even cried when we first tried it on, but he loved it on Halloween and even wanted to sleep in his fireman pants that evening!

Posing on the steps with his pumpkins!
We think he makes a pretty handsome fireman!

Nathan started his Trick or Treating adventure at Grandpa and Grandma's house!
He was really good at it this year and was so cute saying "Trick or Treat" and then "Thank you" after receiving his treat!  He loved it when people would give him a handful because when he got to take his own Mom would make him take just one! ;)

The Jack O'lanterns all lit up!

Happy Halloween 2013!

Love,
The Patersons
