The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We are enjoying every single minute of our Christmas vacation!  

We started out by spending some time with Auntie Jess and making glass candy!  Nathan loved going over and playing with Keelah and Mauer.

Nathan also opened his first Christmas present and card on Friday!

He got a card in the mail from the Webbers.  It plays music, lights up, has a Santa and has a choo choo!  What more could a boy want?  :)

He got his first present from Miss Darcy and LOVES his new "plane and guy!"  

On Saturday, Nathan made us pizza for dinner!  It was fantastic!  He loved putting each ingredient on and did a great job following directions!

After our delicious dinner, we took a family trip to look at all of the Christmas lights!  We saw Christmas Wreath Lane, CandyCane Lane, Misfit Lane, Christmas Tree Trail and much more!  Here are some of our favorite sights!

We also saw a deer up close!  Nathan loved watching it drink from the bird bath.  After seeing all of the lights, we stopped at Dairy Queen for Nathan's first Chocolate Shake!

On Sunday, we went to Church and then spent time at Opa and Oma's house.  The boys played with the cool nativity Opa and Oma bought, we made gingerbread houses together, and Opa read Christmas books to the boys.  What a special time!

We are so excited for the next couple of days!  It is magical watching Christmas unfold for Nathan!  It will a special time with family for sure!
