Weekend Wrap-Up!

Well, needless to say we have had a very busy week.  We have had beautiful fall weather, fun, sickness, cuddles, and snow all in one week!  Crazy!   Here is a picture recap of our week's events!

We started off our weekend last week with beautiful fall weather and a trike ride.  Nathan is really starting to love riding his trike and asks to ride it EVERY time we go outside!  Between that and the Bronco, we can almost not get to the car sometimes.

We were feeling kind of icky by Sunday and we visited Dr. Steven's.  We also stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's house to check on things.  Nathan enjoyed picking tomatoes from their garden.  So cute!

He also loved putting the cherry tomatoes into the bucket of water! :)

We took the opportunity to play in the leaves too!

Dr. Steven's checked us out and said we didn't have an ear infection or strep, but our fever continued until we went back to visit Dr. Kummer and found out that we had 2 huge ulcers in the back of our throat.  It is just a virus, but we were pretty miserable.

Oma and Uncle Jake stayed home with Nathan on Wednesday, Momma stayed home on Thursday, and Daddy stayed home on Friday.  I think are finally over the worst and are headed to complete healing.  Today was our first day in 9 days without tylenol and we didn't run a fever!

While staying home, Nathan found a love for wearing Mommy's and Daddy's shoes around the house.  It is so cute to watch him walk about!

Blowing bubbles in the bath!
Nathan loves to stick his whole face into the water and blow bubbles.  Silly kid!

Tonight we celebrated our day of no fever and headed out for pizza.  Nathan thought the snow was pretty interesting and really wanted to stay outside and play in it.  We currently have a blanket of snow on the ground and it is only October 5th!

We are supposed to be heading to the Pumpkin Patch tomorrow, but we might be postponing that.  We will have to see what this crazy weather does!
One thing I do know is that we are all very excited for a restful weekend with family and friends!
Happy Weekend!
Jen
